Laos for Christmas

Well, we left Chang Mai yesterday, and made it to the Thai/Laos border town of Chiang Khong. We catch a boat this morning for a 2-day trip down the Mekong River into Luang Prabang, where we will spend Christmas. Happy Holidays to all, we miss you.

Love,
Michael and Chandler

Well, I cried when I saw this photo of you because you both look so happy and wonderful. It hit me how much I miss you. We are very happy for you and your adventure and wish you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

I hope to hear your voices sometime tonight while we're at Mom and Dad's for Christmas Eve.

Mike showed the kids and I the "Santa tracker" on NORAD's website - we can't believe that he's already delivered gifts to you! The kids can't wait for tomorrow.

We love you, Erica and family

Merry Christmas Michael and Chandler!! Motorbikes, elephants, food, and being surrounded by a different culture, people and land, and food...dudes, very sweet!

We LOVE visiting your blog! Maybe you guys should just be professional travelers, maybe we could ask Bill Gates to sponsor TeamColahan. I think you could make it your quest to ride every animal you can for the next year. A camel, a llama, caribou(water buffalo, Philippines)maybe an ostrich. I bet there's a reality show out there for you.

I'd imagine it to be a bit strange and way cool to be someplace so very not your home. Alasia and I are continually stoked that you're having a new adventure every day. Just a brilliant thing to see and experience the world. Take care you two, continue your great trek, Merry Christmas and happy New Year!

Love,
Alasia & Bobby
